Life on the Island...

After our first visit to Orange Beach we realized that it was the Gulf Coast's best kept secret.

In the spirit of that first trip, here is a glimpse of what your own visit might include.

The Beach to Beat

Green-blue crystal clear water washes against the shore of fine white sand that squeaks like cornstarch powder as you walk.  We are committed to clean beaches and our community mantra is Leave Only Footprints.  Our beach is one of the few places in the continental United States where you can sit in the same spot on the beach and enjoy both the unparalleled sunrise and sunset over the sparkling sea every dawn and dusk.

Connect with the Natural

Orange Beach offers more than a purely nautical experience. Miles of paved bike trails weave through nature preserves and across the Intercoastal Waterway.

Relax. Reflect. Retreat.

Feel the warm sunshine and ocean breeze.  Hear the waves curl on shore.  Smell the salt air. Taste the coastal delicacies.

Fish On!

HEY THAT'S NOT A FISH!  Not to worry! Catch red fish, black drum, pompano, speckled trout, flounder and maybe even a black tip shark or stingray from the comfort of your beach chair.  And, if you're up for more, head across the street to Gulf State Park to catch blue crab, catfish and bass.

Live the History

Admiral David Glasgow Farragut who famously proclaimed "Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead" is but one of the great commanders leading servicemen through battles in and around Mobile Bay from the War of 1812 to World War II whether defending or attacking the still stalwart Fort Morgan.  You can also explore the Mighty A at Battleship Memorial Park, the Orange Beach Indian & Sea Museum to learn about Native American nautical heritage or, the home of the Blue Angels and the National Naval Aviation Air Museum.

Great Eats

The Island will not disappoint when it comes to gastronomic fare.  Some of our favorites for goodness from the sea are Fish River Grill #3 and GT's on the Bay.  For breakfast, who doesn't love Waffle House for a good meal 24-hours a day?  You will be wowed by the super service.  Believe it or not, we have not had better Chinese food than at China King.  You don't have to take our word for it, both locals and visitors alike are always pleasantly surprised and well satisfied.  John's favorite is the Black Pepper Chicken.  You can easily call them from the beach and by the time you walk up to the condo, your food will be there hot and ready to devour.
